Definitely some excitement here. I can't wait for the playtest to start so I can try the new game out.
I have a question for Chris.
Do Modiphius have plans to release a campaign of any sort...
I'm going to set up a play test group especially for this, come hell or high water :D
I got the impression that Chris at Modiphius is really up for this, which is great to hear. I'm sure we'll be following this closely. I'll be heading to Dragonmeet in December to meet the team.
Ineti, i've been following the news on this with interest. Glad to hear "one of us" is on the inside. Congratulations. Looking forward to see what is coming our way. Sounds like there is going to be...
Can I just say that this thread is excellent? I love the approach you're taking and the Space: Above and Beyond inspiration is a smart call. Look forward to reading more.
Thanks for the link, I'll be giving this a listen as soon as possible.
I just checked the ADB boards and the last comments were from September. The project is still ongoing but is dependent on Jean Sexton having three weeks (her words) to complete. No indication of when...
A great question. ADB has just released the revised version of the Call to Arms:Star Fleet book and it is a great improvement over the Mongoose version. It's currently available on DriveThruRPG as a...
Just wanted to echo the thanks of the others as well. So glad that these forums are still here. I'm not currently playing or running any Trek games but I still check in every couple of days.
I think it's in the TOS narrators guide.
I ran that one but I actually used Savage Worlds. Had lots of fun with it, as I recall.

Thanks for the latest update.
I would say
Borg
Jem'hadar
Dominion
Klingon
Federation
Breen
Romulan
Cardassian
Nice idea. I haven't picked up the game yet but i'll be sure to pitch in when I have and see if I can help out.
I'm always interested in seeing new material for FASA :)
I'm done with Mongoose and ADB, i'm afraid. I'm sure the book will appear at some point but i'll pass on it now.
Well, i'll be waiting for it with baited breath. My group, who wouldn't normally touch Trek with a barge pole are keen to play in the Abrams - verse due to the second movie coming out. let me know if...
Excellent thread. I'll be mining this for my own Abrams Trek game, no doubt.
Ok, some really excellent ideas here. It's going to be hard to not do Balance Of Terror given how many cool things have been put on the table here.
Erm...congratulations:)
I had just written a post berating Selek for using this thread to have a go at the movie and then he went and posted some great advice. Drat
I've been asked to run a game of Star Trek around the time of the release of the new movie. It's been suggested that I reimagine the plot of a classic series episode in the JJ style. What can I do...
Does anyone have strong opinions on how starship combat plays out in the Icon system? It's the one system I haven't tried it in, having used FASA and Coda to resolve battles before. I may be looking...
Can you link to that statement? Nothing i've read about the project suggests there won't be rules for starship combat in the book.
