Thankfully I have on the crew a PC whose role is that of Diplomatic Adjutant for the captain...I figure Star Fleet reviewed Kirk's 5 year mission and deemed it prudent for captains. :D
The opposite number is a great idea, may make it a few as part of the time they'll be in the Triangle...although you can never really keep a good foil down, can you?
:)
There may be something to that, but I'd wager than any such imperfection would just as likely favor any number as another and even then, you'd probably have to roll the dice more times than you are...
But in a RPG, most of the fun is getting out of the mess you created. :)
The odds of doing that are greater than rolling a "1" on a d20 43 times in a row. I'm no math whiz, but assuming that the die in question is not loaded or whatnot, I'd say one has a greater chance...
Pretty much how I'm handling it. Humans, Vulcans, Alpha-Centaurians (although I liked the LUG/Decipher treatment of them), Andorians, Tellerites, Edoans, and Caitans are the only PC races allowed.
Very nice!
I'm extremely tempted to set it right after STTMP now.
That's true in the FASAverse and the STverse in general, but not necessarily in my 'verse.
I have no problem saying destroyers are pressed into fullfilling exploration duties if I end up wanting...
That's a great point about them - I'll be sure to keep it in mind when throwing ships at them to fight.
What I'll probably do is use a Larson for our intro session of the combat section and then...
Hello,
After our current Pathfinder Kingmaker campaign concludes, I'm going to be running a FASA Trek game. I gave the players a choice of FASA or CODA and I think since they wanted to run TOS,...
If it were my site, I'd post on the forums at ENWorld and RPG (dunno if someone's done that).
I likewise was about to delete this site from my bookmarks, before discovering that it was alive and...
Personally, I'm all in favor of them using a Double Rimmer salute.
Regarding current US military personnel saluting indoors or any other occasion while uncovered, your Marine friend is correct...
For some reason, when I printed it out, the standard text came out unreadable, as if it was too small for my laser printer to render.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still around, but been busy lately.
Expect a new round of updates over the weekend.
Updates:
Reflected Ice Giant's second Akira variation.
Sea_Tyger's Way of D'era conversions.
Steamrunner variant, by Alex Pryde.
Highlander Scout.
Also, she's commisioned in Vulcan service while Spock was commisioned in Starfleet service.
It worked fine for me.
With Space_Cadet's permission, I could put it up for download on my website.
A Klingon, A Vulcan, A Ferengi, and a Wookie enter a bar.
The bartender looks up and says, "What is this, some kind of joke?"

Being a theist is to be one with a positive degree of belief, by the very definition of the word "theist".
Theist = one who believes.
If someone does not believe, for whatever reason, they...
I dunno...the empathy thing is a big thing.
That's why we have psychologists seperate from psychiatrists.
Since I drive a Saturn, I can't imagine I'd need one of those.
Thus far, I haven't needed one and based on the way I drive, likely wouldn't.
If I had one, I'd end up using. Often.
Actually, Owen, atheist is more properly defined as one who lacks a belief in god. There are some atheists who believe there is no god but that's a subset of the overall group.
In other words, an...
I'd be disinclined to consider it a psionic based maneuver if for no other reason than the fact that Data did it and I don't think there's ever been any evidence that Data had psionic ability.
Styro's left the building.
However, I'm in his chair with my feet on the desk.
Drop on by, be the second person to peer-review my review of the Starfleet Operations Manual.
