Re: FASA Conversion and other things

Since LUC in FASA is generally usable for anything, not specific activities, I tried to find edges that would be more general in scope. I found that to affect all skill rolls, for example, I would have to take Bold, Curious and Confident, but even so, this increased the effectiveness of Courage points, which may or may not be the best way to represent this.
Any suggestions?
You could use those Edges to represent the character's high luck, or you could just give him additional Courage Points (say 4 or 5 extra, maybe?).
2) I have books 1 to 5 of the ST:RPG and have not seen anywhere any idea of how to handle alcohol consumption. Remember Scotty drinking an alien under the table in a TOS episode? I tried to see if poisons would be a good way to represent this but it doesn't seem quite right - perhaps there is a better way, or I missed something?
I'd say go ahead and treat it like a toxin (poison). Have the effects possibly lower Percepption and Agility and each drink has 1 or 2 stages with an onset time that varies from a few minutes to a few rounds.
