    Attributes

On Page 80 of the Player's Guide it mentioned on the second paragraph describing Vitality that "a Vitality attribute test resists aging rolls."

What are aging rolls and how does VIT help?

I believe that may have been a holdover from an earlier version of the ruels where you would make tests to determine if your attributes were affected by age modifiers.

    Thanks for the help, Doug.

I have another question - On page 148 of the player's guide under the section that is labelled Assigning Reactions, it given an example with a Vulcan character. The second sentence makes no sense to me - "He chooses Intellect as the governing attribute and begins with Psi 2."

What difference does it make where he puts his score of 10? On page 138, under Psionic, it clearly indicates that one's Psi score is a base of 4 when one buys the Edge, and then it can be augumented by advancements, as a favoured attribute.

So page 148 is referring to a process that would never take place, since one would not use Intellect to determine the Psi attribute, right?

That I know for a fact is a remnant of an earlier iteration. Psi was originally going to be determined as a Reaction. During the playtest, this was changed. Psi now starts at a flat level of 4.
