Cool.
(Not hip on the blue, though. Prefer the olive.)

On the topic of Blue vs Teal/Sea Green/Olive, I like the blue as it is a TOS colour![]()
The charcoal tunics look better with the trim, I think.

I like the charcoal as well.
What era are we looking at here? I also like the charcoal, but I'd keep the inner-panel(?) the same color.

Not sure what you mean. Which colour for the inner-pannel?Originally posted by Phoenix

The tan portion of the maroon uniforms, I'd suggest any single color, vs. the dept. color concept.

Oh I see, keep the tan. Yeah I tried that and it looked terrible. Too many colours on one uni and it was too close to the gold as well.
Trial and error that's what this is all about![]()
Have you tried retaining the white for the underlining of the blood/maroon overcoat? Sorry, I can't think of any color that would blend with blood/maroon.
Personally, I'd go with black underlining for the charcoal overcoat, if not silver/grey. I also think there should be a black trim bordering the neck of the overcoat.
Anyhoo, just some random thoughts...

I see what you mean, but I am saving white for the Admiralty. So I wouldn't use it on non-Admiral/Commodore officers.Originally posted by REG

Oh I see what you mean (about the lining and the neck thing) I like the linking being the same department colour, don't know why, it just suits my tastes.Originally posted by REG

As for the black around the collar. I agree, but have not the patience to do it, and besides the actual movie gen unis don't do it either.
Thanks for the feedback though, gave me some thoughts

Not bad eh?
I like the charcoal as well, Aslan. Although, to be honest, my firt thought on seeing them was Trek meets the Confederacy...Not that that's a bad thing, though. I liked the Confederate uniform...

I like them.
A lot!
In fact - they're so good I'd like to use them in my next campaign which is set after the Dominion War. If Aslan is ok with me printing them off.
The uniforms look so great to me because they contain the new uniform elements (DS9 onwards) whilst maintaining the classic style of the movie era uniforms which were always my favourite uniform.
I'd even say that their design came about when Starfleet wanted to introduce a new post-war uniform but also have a homage to the more historical elements of Starfleet uniforms.
Of course - it'd mean me swapping the red and gold department colours.
Thank you Aslan!

I like them.
So, your game is run in the era of the Scottie Suit, eh? All that nasty radiation that they seem to have cleaned up in TNG. Never could really understand that, you are standing 2 feet away from a reactor powerful enough to get a starship up to light speed...and your're not glowing!![]()
Looks like you are on your way to a really good game there Aslan.
