    It's great that TOS is coming out this year already. Maybe Voyager is selling so badly that they need the additional money.

    It was always the plan to bring out TOS season sets and Voyager in the same year. They're starting TOS later because later in the year is when people do more retail buying (Christmas, the holiday that honors same store sales!).

    Seven season sets have to start earlier, because at Paramount's high prices, they'll compete with each other if they're released in close proximity. But even then, you'll notice that the first two or three take the first half of the year, and the remaining four or five come out more frequently towards the end of the year.

    My wife is just going to hate me later this year, between TOS sets and the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD.

    She barely tolerates my Trek I-VI (sans V) collection as it is.
