When a system is damaged and reduced on its damage track, does the Reliability Modifier of the system remain the same or does it take the new damage level Reliabilty Modifier?
By what I have read in the NG under Repairs, it looks like it is the former.. I just wanted to double check.
You keep the reliability modifyer of the original system. A reliability modifyer is to represent over-redundancy, such as how they can always fnd a back up generator somewhere and get the thing going again... a high reliability modifyer with weapons reflects that you either have so many of them or they are so robust that it's easy to find one and coax it into life again etc...
