your enterprise file seems very interesting.

A brave little theory, and actually quite coherent for a system of five or seven dimensions -- if only we lived in one.

    Hi,

This is the 3rd draft for review. It looks like its shaping up well and pretty confident about its completion. I've spent a day filling in some of the gaps and including info from contributors (kudos to them ). One of my concerns is that the book may be too big to be posted on this site for a final. I'm hoping there's someone who might be interested in hosting this book when it is completed. If you have any info just let me know. There's still room for contributors so if you like to help out, feel free to email me (mfamith<at>msn.com) or post it on this site. Here's some material we might need

    1. Xindi and Xindi ships
    2. Frieghters
    3. Tholian ship (Future Tense)
    4. Other aliens other than what is already covered in the current line
    5. Write ups of minor characters (particulairly Crewlady Elizabeth Cutler)

    Feedback and help is welcomed

skree, i wondered if you got my message?

    computers 22nd century

I have noticed in ENTERPRISE (Space_Cadet you might want to add this in the next draft of the SB) that ship computers are not capable of vocal interface ie they cant speak...unlike the computers in the 23rd and 24th centuries.

The books looking good, if you need any more of my designs, go ahead and use them.

    Antonsb214 , thanks

skree, i think its pretty minor detail. I'd probably won't mention it.

jened , I'll let you know when its ready for final "pdfing". Thanks

I might make some changes to the hand phasers by chaning the settings to 2 and 5 (intead of 7). Look for another weekly draft around Friday night again.

    Thumbs up

The E-Book is looking great! Hoping I have some kind of 22nd century break through in my imagination and will have something to post.

Cutler's title would be "crewman," in keeping with Starfleet's naval tradition. Even female captains are referred to as "Sir". And junior officers are called "Mister" regardless of gender (In TWOK, Kirk calls Lt. Saavik "Mr. Saavik"). But the book is looking good, I'll give it a more thorough read this weekend.

The Ferengi's were never named as a race and Picard (IIRC) claimed that the Federation had had contact with them for years but nothing solid. The meeting with the Enterprise (D) was supposed to be the first real face to face contact with them, as far as star fleet is concerened.

And if you want to argue about the Ferengi then should also argue about the Trill and allt he stuff they backstoried about Dax in DS9

    But I guess ret-conning is ok, but fore-shadowing isn't.

Does your sig area really need to be bigger then your post?

This the recent version... with Xindi stats and some other stuff as well.

We stil need info on the Nausican raider, the Klingon transport ship in Bounty, and possibly some supporting characters.

I had to split it into two separate files cause its gotten big. So you need to place both in the same directory after unzipping and click the application file to extract.

Any chance you could just split this into two PDF files rather than using a (Windows only) joiner application? I'm looking forward to seeing the latest draft, but I can't run Windows executables on my Mac!

    Sure, no problem.
