    Talking The Gm’s 10 Commandments

I sent this thread in already but I cant find it so I think it did get posted, any ways this is somthing for you and your players hope you enjoy it... tell me what you think

    THE GM’S 10 COMMANDMENTS

1.Thou shalt not GM before me.

2.Thou shalt not make unto thee any stories or plans of any likeness of any thing that is the GM’s job, or that is impossible for thee to do with out the GM’s permission: Thou shalt not act thy story by thy self, nor serve them: for I am a jealous GM, visiting the iniquity of the player upon the character unto the third and fourth turn; and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that listen to me, and keep my commandments.

3.Thou shalt not take the name of thy GM in vain; for the GM will not be kind to those that taketh his name in vain.

4.Remember the game, to keep it going. Two actions shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But an extra action giveth unto thee a penalty: in it thou shalt only have a penalty if it is during a battle: For in two actions the character can work miracles, at the end of thy turn thou shalt rest: wherefore the GM blessed the turn and hallowed it allowing the player to think of his next actions.

5.Honor thy fellow players and thy fellow characters: that thy turns may be many within the game, which the GM hath giveth thee.

6.Thou shalt not kill any character out of anger against the player.

    7.Thou shalt not metagame.

8.Thou shalt not steal players dice nor fight over them.

9.Thou shalt not hold they fellow characters in miss trust if they be working with thee.

10.Thou shalt not fight nor argue with thy fellow players; always voice thy opinion to thy GM that he may be able to settle the confrontation, Thou shalt not fight with any character unless it’s in character, nor shalt thy quit thy game because things are not going thy way.

If thou shalt break any of the GM’s Ten Commandments then thou shalt loose 100 experience points for each offence thou maketh

I especially like # 3; violate that rule when I GM and so help me I'll unleash hell upon the character.

This seems more apropriate for the Narrator's Ready Room, so it's been moved to there.
