    The Master's final incarnation?

Some sad news: Anthony Ainley has passed away.

For those of us too young to remember Roger Delgardo, Anthony Ainley IS the Master. He will be missed.

I remember. Thanks to many, many hours of reruns late night on PBS. He's the guy that I always picture as the Master...

I do remember Delgado in the role, but Ainley WAS The Master.

    RIP.

Of course, I remember watching Roger Delgado as the Master on PBS. But, like so many others, Anthony Ainley was the Master for me. While Delgado played the character well, Ainley made him truly evil.

    God rest his soul.
