Exclamation Line continuity [question for Decipher Staff]

    Hello

I follow both the Star Trek and LOTR line. It's been a long time since we have seen another book of either game line.

I want answers : is this the end ? Do we have just to wait ?

Green Ronin informs his customers about the M&M line so why not you ?

While I - and countless others - understand the sentiment (boy do we ever understand it), this might not be the best venue to voice this sort of opinion or ask these kinds of questions. Doug Burke, our Friendly Neighbourhood 'Net Rep, has been the sole Decipher employee to post on Trek-RPG.net with any kind of information, and the blinkard managment/administration at Decipher has apparently left him about as much in the dark as we are.

Warren Holland (Decipher's CEO) was, apparently, hoping to have some sort of definitive answer to this question back in early April; now, closing on two months later, we're still no better off in terms of answers, postive or negative. Don Mappin has strongly suggested that - even if the books in question ever end up getting published - it won't be Decipher's doing: they've been shopping the lines around to other games publishers since November '03, and if they haven't got any takers six months later...well, I think we can pretty much call it a rained-out ballgame.

A better choice might be to contact Decipher directly on this matter; the e-mail address is http://mailto:customer.service@decipher.com. However, be warned: When presented with these straightforward questions, Decipher has become very good at the art of making all sorts of pleasant noises, but not really saying anything. I think about the best you can anticipate is a vague sort of response that indicates - oh, hopefully - they'll have some kind of answer for us before the end of the calendar year.

In the meantime, be it known that there are over two thousand members on this site who feel exactly the same as you do, and are praying against logic that there is a breakthrough on this score.

    Best.
