He paused, seeming to check his own crediblility at the implausibility of what he was about to say.

Sighing, he continued, "Size and mass are consistent with DS6. It could be the station, which would corroborate the Orion's story."
Seeing that the Midearan is still considering his overtures, Grimm says, "Hold that thought, Mr. Vlwas," then orders Remy to mute the transmission as he turns to face his science officer.

"Confirm Mr. McKeown's findings please, Mr. Vuson," he says. "Mr. McKeown, transfer your information to flight control. Mr. Everett, plot and lay in an intercept course."

Turning back to the screen, he leans toward Rostoff slightly and quietly adds, "Ultra-possessive anarchists, you say? Thank you, Commander. A firm hand it is.

"Mr. Remy, if you please," he orders, pausing long enough for Remy to perform his task. "Now, Mr. Vlwas, you've had a moment to consider my question. We are in a bit of a rush, so I need an answer from you now. What information can you provide us?"

Alejandra begins to make a move toward the flight control console before checking herself with a bemused (and slightly frustrated) shake of her head. Instead she settles for standing at the rail near Lt. (?) Everett and keeping an eye on his work, ready to throw in a suggestion on the intercept course if necessary.

Oh, and the Science: Space (Astrogation) roll is 20.

Edit: Found the box the Trek books were in, and the appropriate additional modifiers for my roll.

Vlwas looks at yout hrough the narrowing oh his 5 eyes and makes a strange clicking noise. "I tell you this Federation. You are not welcome here. No one wants you. We all fine here until you come along. Now troubles start from the far end of the Jentris." He cocks his head to one side. "Give up those lost for dead and go home. You will only meet death if you pursue."

With that he cuts to communication.

Mr Everrett turns his chair. "Course laid in Captain, awaitng the word."

Matthew gives Cmdr. Rostoff an apologetic "I'm a soldier, not a diplomat" look, then nods to his helmsman.

"Best possible speed, Mr. Everett," he says, turning towards his science officer. "Mr. Veson, Mr. McKeown, scan the hell out of that thing."

The ship jumps to warp speed. The starfield streaking away on the main viewer. In engineering, Lt. Fields is able to regulate the Anti-matter flow, shaving about %5 off the acceleration lag.

Vuson looks up from his monitors. "Captain." The VUlcan's voice is hesitant, as if unsure. "I am detecting a tetryon surge to the starboard." He pauses. "Now it is gone." He furrows his brow. "I have it again sir..." His eyes snap up to yours "Definately a cloaked ship matching our course and speed!"

"It never rains, but it pours," Matthew mutters as his brow furrows into a crease. "Red Alert, XO.

"Mr. Vuson, you focus on the cloaked ship; let me know if it makes any sudden moves," he orders. "Mr. McKeown, you continue to gather information on the sensor mass."

Turning to Rostoff, Grimm adds quietly, "Well, nothing like making the situation a little more complicated. It makes you wonder how long they've followed us."

    "Aye, sir."

McKeown continues to scan the moving object, looking for odd energy readings or, possibly other ships.
