I suspect that it could well be true only in the sense that he'll still somehow be there in the background.

Nope, not April 1st!
We can only hope......I just hope someone who knows the history aspect of Trek, and respects it, comes in and helms it. I mean, how difficult is it to read the published material to do with continuity, anyway? While I appreciate they need to create stories, at least they could pay SOME attention to it, couldn't they?
Cheers

I'm NOT stupid, I'm NOT expendable and I'm NOT going!
Aslan, you beat me to it!
I can't wait to see what they'll come up withAs for himself, Braga is working on a new series with fellow Enterprise executive producer Rick Berman, which he described as being science fiction but "not sci-fi with people in spaceships, with aliens running around."![]()

OTOH, this interpretation may be too long a shot to even remotely consider, knowing where it comes from.
That aside, Braga will probably just go into hiding for a few weeks and then return to the show under an alias. It's all a big plan of his to appease the "old school" fans (i.e. people like us) and stop them from pestering him about continuity issues and canon, while staying in control of the series.
I mean, could his hubris be so great that he truely considers the last year his masterpiece?
Okay, forget I even asked.![]()

A serious answer to an obvious tongue-in-cheek rhetorical question is that ST: Enterprise Season 3 is probably the best season of Star Trek since the end of DS9, and is also likely better than any single Voyager season. So, it's probably his best Trek effort in quite a while.Originally posted by Lancer

In your opinion. No offense but I sat through a bunch of eps this season and didn't find them to be better than Ds9 or the best of Voyager. But that is my opinion.Originally posted by Sea Tyger

For me The Andorian Incident, Shadows of Pa'Jem, Cease Fire and Future Tense have been the best eps I have seen. No other episode has managed to impress me as much as those ones have.
But again this is opinion.
Yes Braga is only stating an opinion, but the way he does it is arrogant and maybe just a little Braga-ing![]()
I find myself hoping this to be true, and having Braga being replaced by someone eventually deemed worse by the fans (and not himself under a pseudo).
Just because I heard so many bad things about him that I came to think he may not be such a bad guy![]()

Like hearing so many bad things about Terry Nichols and Charles Manson? Yeah, once you get past their bombing and the brutal murder conspiracy convictions, respectively.Originally posted by C5

I'm sure he's good at other stuff, like Tom Cruises' Mission: Impossible 2 (writing credit) but when it comes to Star Trek he's better off as a writer rather than an executive producer.

Perhaps that's because "topping" means something entirely different in American BDSM circles. . . . (Hey, I have weird edgy friends; That's why I know this.Originally posted by Tobian
