    Question CODA to LUG Trek!

Having never played, nor owned any CODA material, i may be missing something obvious here, but is there an easy quick reference guide anywhere for converting CODA to LUG. Just stats/rolls etc. There's some nice things on the forum here, and i could convert, but i'd really like some sort of guide for the sake of consistency.

    Anyone have any thoughts.

    Cheers

When CODA first came out Don released a conversion for LUG to CODA (characters only) which I am able to use to convert CODA to LUG characters.

I believe some of the adventure .pdf's in CODA are converted LUG adventures. If you have a copy of both the LUG and CODA adventure I assume something could be figured out for general game conversions between the two.

Retroconverting CODA to LUG is possible, but takes a little more finessing and jiggling about than vice versa. I've been working on a conversion table, which still needs a bit of work, but Don's ICON2CODA file is a good basis to work from.

As noted, one of Dave Biggins' adventures is available in both formats. The Crusoe Effect can be downloaded in CODA format from Decipher at http://decipher.com/startrek/rpg/adventures.html and the original ICON version from Memory: ICON at http://www.coldnorth.com/memoryicon/...soe_effect.pdf

Comparing how Dave converted the adventure should give a good feel for how the results should look.
