I think this season is the best, like the writers really pull out the stops with the last few episodes.
I even liked Northstar, the fact that those people were abducted during the 1800's, it seems that's as far as their tech might get in just a few generations if they were building with leftovers. I think it might have been more interesting if the Aliens remembered more of their own culture or if the writers had come up with a little more.
But the last eight were pretty good.
I remember some of the early episodes of TNG and I think Enterprise is better in some respects. I expected that it would take at least three seasons before the story quality usually picks up, you spend two seasons just getting to know the crew.
