*The J-class freighter is designed to move large amount of cargo
economically. These ships feature a small main hull to which self contained cargo containers are attached to at the rear of the vessel. These ships can reach a top sub-light speed 0.2c with cargo modules attached, but can reach speeds of 0.3c if the pods are jettison. The J-class can haul upto 5 class 3 cargo modules.
This vessel was used up to the 2260's (Harry Mudd stole one and
Capt. Pike commanded one of these as a training vessels).
