    Exclamation Starship Duty Proffesional Ability

    Hey Guys!

    I need help!

One of my players read Starship Duty Proffesional Ability and told me that we did character creation wrong. It says that when you pick this ability, it substitutes all prerequisites for entering that elite proffession.

Does that mean that you don't need to buy skills for say...Flight Officer? That you can get any skills you want?

I made my players that they had to have the prerequisites for their characters.

    Second.

Can some one explain how with Starship duty you can advance two Elite Proffessions at a time. He is trying to tell me he can have Martial Artist and Command Elite Proffessions with this at the same time.

I think he is trying to take advantage of me...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

    Can someone please help me.

    Thanks.

If Matt Damon is going to be Captain Kirk, does that mean Ben Affleck is gonna be Mr. Spock?

    Okay....

In the posted Players Guide Errata, it states that the prerequisites for joining an elite starship officer profession are through taking the Starship Duty ability or the other listed prerequisites. The errata also states that Starship Duty may not be chosen through the Innovative edge.

For more on managing multiple professions check out the Multiple Professions Thread.

    That should answer your questions.
