I wanted to make a thread about Origins so when we found out something it could be posted.

If anyone hears anything, please put it here.

I'm really eager to find out what the future holds for the Star Trek RPG.

You can, but it's probably not a good way to <s>waste</s> spend your time.

I haven't seen anything on the other RPG boards, so it remains to be seen whether Decipher will say anything. Maybe we'll hear something at GenCon, though I wouldn't hold my breath.

I received no answer about the fate of the roleplaying lines when I asked the folks manning the Decipher booth, but they seemed more like ignorant wage-slaves hired to run the till than actual company employees. I did not see any RPG products displayed prominently at the booth nor did I see any demos being run of same, but must admit I did not make much more than a cursory effort. My time in the Exhibit Hall was limited and I had other priorities. Apologies...

By "no answer" do you mean they ignored you totally or just said they didn't know??

Had they ignored me totally, I would have known they were bona fide Decipher employees rather than mere booth stooges. All of the people with whom I spoke said they were unaware as to whether any decision had been made regarding the roleplaying lines.
