Thread: Decipher compatibility + conversion charts

Post Decipher compatibility + conversion charts

I was wondering if there were plans to include conversion tables or other goodies to make your existing LUGTrek characters and ships and such compatible with any new rules?

Also, will the difficulty target numbers be on the same range?

There'll be a conversion notes section in the Players' Guide.

The Difficulty range differs, just as the range of Attribute and Skill ratings differs. I think you'll actually find it easier to remember and use, though.

I actually find this statement odd as one of the first promises Decipher made, way back when was an attempt at a conversion system from ICON to Decipher...

(Makes sense for them to offer a 1 way conversion system, and shouldn't be that difficult to reverse engineer if required)

This is the type of specific stuff that we probably won’t be discussing until after the playtest is complete and a lot of stuff is nailed down. Likely another article that will go into more specific details, explain the core mechanics, and demonstrate how it works.

Makes sense to me. No point in telling us how the new system works before you got it nailed down.

Hope you ex-Unicorns work out all the details soon.
