George Takai "Mr. Sulu of TOS" on Will & Grace

Although not a huge fan of Will & Grace, I watch it on and off when nothing is on i.e. Smallville repeats. I caught an advertisement for next weeks episode.

George Takai is guest starring as himself and being openly gay in the episode. I saw some of the clips and it made me laugh.

I do not know if it is a repeat or not, but I thought I would have you all interested to catch the episode. Might actually be funny, last time Takai guest starred on a sitcom 3rd Rock From the Sun he was hysterical. They need to give the man a sitcom.

Gay or Not . . . he is a great actor . . . and got to be in a Movie with "The Duke".

Furthermore, he is a snubbed Asian-American TMP CAPT.

Even more reason.

OH and I have to ask . . .
A little off subject.

Why is it that when a Filipino Male character is scene on TV . . . he ends up being Gay? Stereotype?

I always felt the Capt. Sulu Adventures concept was way better than Enterprise.

Who cares if he is gay really? He is a great actor as you said, a great voice, and yes snubbed Asian-American actor like most of them are.

As for doing a film with 'The Duke', to each their own.

I think he is a funny comedic actor that deserves something. George is great making you laugh and he can do the drama as well.
