    "The Lord of Darkness" concludes

For those who may have been following the story, the third and final part of "The Lord of Darkness" PBEM chronicle is complete and posted on my website:

In Part III, "The Fate of the Fellowship and the Iron Jewel", the Fellowship confronts the Singer, an ancient and fell power who now dwells in the Great Wood of Rhun, last remnant of the primordial birthplace of Elvenkind. The heroes learn from him what suffering the Angril will unleash upon the world, and realize that they alone must face the king's old friend Belemir, who is now their enemy Baldur. If the shards of the Iron Jewel are gathered together, nothing will stop the Lord of Darkness from returning to Arda. The Fellowship faces their gravest test in the wild Far East. Can Baldur be stopped without also killing the man who was once Belemir? Will the companions have the strength to take the other shards -- and the will to hurl them into the watery depths? Salvation comes at a high price, and not all stories end happily, as "The Lord of Darkness" chronicle concludes.

As one of the players in this fantastic game, I can absolutely recommend this. It's a great read!
