Exclamation Watch this space for 'Enterprise' deck plans

Hi there, for those of you who are interested (you know who you are) i will hopefully be posting deck plans for the ships from StarTrek 'Enterprise' over the next few weeks and months

They are taking a while, please be patient, but these will be I'm sure the mother of all blueprints the holy grail.

The first which has been my template to how these are produced and the overall appearence of the bueprints will be the Venus Class of Iceland Class as other wbe sites have come to label it the triangular hulled vessel from 'The Expanse' and 'Twilight'.
I'm hoping to have these finished in 2-3 weeks.

The next one as i get used to producing a much larger ship will be the Neptune Class or Intrpid Type, i have early sketches drafting the layout of this so hopefully this will be complete by mid-october at the latest.

Finally the one alot of us have been waiting for, cos quite frankly i'm sure we are all getting sick of waiting for em ; ), and will be my biggest project the NX CLass itself, will posted in time for Christmas.

Each blue-print project will be detailed to the point of even indicating where the fire extinguishers are located (just to give you an idea to the level of detail, including where all those elusive jeffries tubes are situated, which seems to be forgotten in alot of starship deck-plans.

So anyone interested, give me a hell yeah.

Also anyone interested in the deck plans to the freighters in Enterprise, if so i will start work on those for the new year.

Any questions? I'm all ears. (To any Vulcans - no offense)

I'm curious: I've always wanted to draw some deckplans for our campaign ship (a home-made class) but I always found this too difficult. What method are you using?

I hope I get the chance to actually use them...

everyone will be able to access these deck plans

I don't believe in charging for deck-plans or making them exclusively limited, any deckplans that i will be producing an releasing here will be free access to all, I'm also looking into a way of scanning and re-producing some of the deckplans that i have in my possesion.

Here are the comlplete listing including those which I'm working on.

    Complete Plans

    Galaxy Class
    Constitution Class
    Saladin/Hermes Class
    Federation Class
    Romulan War Bird (ST TOS)

    Under Construction

NX Class (Explorer Class) Release Date Aug 04
Neptune (Intrepid Type Cruiser) Class Release Date Sep 04
Venus/Iceland (Conjectural) Escort Class Release Date Oct 04
Daedalus Class (Explorer Class) Release Date Oct 04

Any ideas about how i scan and reproduce the complete plans as they are of course larger than A4, but I'm sure they would prove very useful to all the gamers out there, but it would be a shame to waste this valuable resource.

You would have to be careful about Copywrites on the printed works. Older one's such as original Enterprise Deckplans might have expired but the TNG Enterprise won't have, so you won't be able to put them up (legaly) on any website... I am sure someone has somewhere, but we are usually quite strict here

    Damn copywrite.....

Yeah i know just wish there was some way round it short of producing my own based on the newer deckplans, but a Galaxy class starship would take months, or even a year.

I have contemplated revising the old TOS plans after working on the 22nd century starships, as the Constitition class does seem to be missing a vital component .... the Warp Drive, unless we accept the theory that the Warp Nacelles has the whole kit and kaboodlle all rolled into those units thus saving internal space in the Primary and Secondary hull's but, i think that would be a lame plot idea stretching the imagination to far, no offense to the originial designs, but i'm a big fan of the original series, and the ship has some difference to what i've seen in the episodes, for example the torpedos and phasers launch from the same deck on the show, but on the deckplans the the torpedo launcher sits forward on C Deck, and is way to small (its practically a pea shooter not very fitting for a Constitution class). See what i'm saying, i think revised deckplans are long overdue, but unfortunately priorities won't see this happening for a few months yet.
The revised plans wouldn't take long, i mean there isn't that much wrong with the initial layout, just merely the technology inside that needs revising.

What do the rest of you think.
