    Correct me if I'm wrong, but a helluva lot of that stuff seems to also be included in the Star Trek Fact Files.

    Are the STFF a sort of conglomeration of stuff from the Magazine?

    Other way 'round. The tech briefings and such are reprinted from the Fact Files. The behind the scenes stuff is original to the Magazine.

    Did anybody see the picture of the new Andorian Science officer in the section on the new DS9 novels?

    God! it puts that image from the one TNG episode to shame totally, utterly, unimaginative shame and shows what an opportunity was missed in the last 12 years.
