    Yes, he did to me. I indiciated that in a post, either on the Ferengi Blue Room or on the Poll on the Future of the Site. I also talk to him Saturday where he indicating the the August 23 deadline is an "artifical deadline".

    Actually I just posted that, to be on again in the KW thread.

    I know of your efforts to save this place, and a have voted in the poll right away after I had seen it.

    When I think of the ways this site could be taken out, I'm reminded instantly of the two ways a starship is removed from service by Starfleet:


    1) The ship is lost in the line of duty.

    2) The ship is deemed to have outlived its usefulness and is "gracefully" decommissioned.


    As for this site, it has certainly not outlived its usefulness. If ya gotta go, go with a bang, I say!!
