In light of the recent announcement I just wanted to say a couple of things..
I wanted to thank Don Mappin for all his hard work over the years. I'd like to think I could put in the same level of hard work and committment if put in the same situation, but I doubt if, in reality I could. I can't imagine what he's gone through keeping this site going. For that I'd like to thank him as i've visited this place almost daily for the last six years or so. It's always been an interesting place to be, sometimes aggravating, sometimes enlightening but always fascinating.
I'd also like to thank everyone who has contributed ideas, scenarios, characters, images, starships and everything else. Some of it i've used, most of it I haven't but i've read just about everything, both Trek and LOTR related. I wish i'd contributed more, and if this site returns, or another appears to take it's place, i'll try harder to get involved.
