Thread: See you tomorrow.

  1. #1

    Exclamation See you tomorrow.

As of right now, it is 01:22 AM, August 23rd Don's local time. I've seen a lot of farewells and good-byes here on Trek-RPG-Net. As for me I'm still holding on to the hope that we can save these boards, hoping that with the efforts of spshu's poll are not in vain.

To Don, I appreciate the efforts and hardships you have put yourself through during the last 6 years. With either choice, your efforts will be missed.

To every one else, If you don't even try to visit tomorrow, you have lost your faith in the family that has been created here. I hope you try to come home.

In less than 24 hours, this site may be gone, or it may be under new management, with either choice, I'm going to keep the short-cut on my computer in the hope WE WILL RETURN.

As I visited around 12:05 of my CET, the site was still around.

I will return after work tonight, I hope that our efforts have gotten so serious that saving this place is possible...

I really do hope this site stays. I'm gonna keep popping in and out today. I'll keep the light on just in case we can save this site. She may be old, but this girl still has alot of life left in her.

I won't let the website fall. I'm collaborating with any of the bidders who wishes to go on with this project, and offering my services and skills.

I will be here, tomorrow, the day after, and as long as TrekRPG.net stands!

I'm still mulling over offers at this time, but there will a disruption of service, be it closing the site down or transferring the content/domain to a new owner. I hope that our users don't just abandon ship and never look back.

    That'd be a shame.

So, keep trying the URL. I'll also e-mail a few people so they can "spread the word" on other message boards.

If you happen to include me in that list of folks to notify, I'd be obliged.

It's rather hard to get rid of me. I don't think I'll stop checking this link before a few aeons.

And I'm ready to contribute to any project to keep the site alive.

And again many thanks to Don for what you've offered us for the past years.

Well I intend to keep dropping by as long as the place is here.

Or until Don changes the locks.

I'm still around too, although it seems like this place is turning into a ghost town. This thread and Utopia Planitia are the only active threads.

I think that this place will be more active, once a decision has been made about the ultimate (near) future. Some people seem to think, that it is easier to post their threads at FBR just in case this site is coming down abruptly. Once that threat will be removed I strongly suggest that this sleeping beauty will come back on
