The suntitle is a little misleading. The section is for all PD. Neither version is published by Steve Jackson Games - the GURPS version uses the GURPS game system under license from SJG, but is published by the Amarillo Design Bureau.
The intent was to have a section for each major published game related to Star Trek. Although Original Prime Directive (OPD) and GURPS Prime Directive (GPD) don't use the game mechanics, they share a partiucular variant on the Star Trek universe (given its heavily militarised stance, quite at odds with Gene Roddenberry's vision, I've always jokingly regarded it as the Mirror Universe RPG).
