It is the year 2389, 14 years after the Dominion War. After many
years of service the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, an Ambassedor Class, is
sitting in spacedock working on it's major refit cycle. The old crew
of The Ike have moved elsewhere, to new ships, new bases, new
territories, and hoping their experiences on the The Ike will help
them in the future.

Now, things are getting put together. The last panels are being
re-attached, and The Ike is ready to go off on more adventures
bringing with it a new crew to explore strange new worlds, to seek out
new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man, woman, or
ambigious being has gone before. Under the command of Captain Cyrus
Chapel, a new crew is being assembled.

THe Ike is an independant sim based on canon Star Trek. You won't
find marines, hellfire torpedos, or engines that go Warp 50. What I
hope you will fine is enjoying the fun plotting between yourself and
others, in both personal plots and actual ship plots, and hopefully a
sense of family by meeting new friends in Trek for the future.
