    1" counters

I was thinking of making up some print quality character/monster counters -- 1" round, 300 dpi -- like the ones Wizards of the Coast put in their D-n-D and Star Wars adventure games. Two questions:

    1) Does anyone have an interest in them?
    2) If so, what would you like to see?

I figured I'd start with generic Starfleet/Federation folk and Klingons, then move to Romulans, Bajorans, Cardies and Jem'hadar. I'd be happy to do something else though.

Sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure if the form (1" round) is the best to use. I think you are on the right path with you choices.

    Counter's I'd like to see:

Human Starfleet Personnel (Male and Female, in branch colors, and with enough diversity so each character can be readily identified)

A mix of non human Starfleet characters (Vulcans, Andorians, Bajorans, Tellarites, etc.)

    Some "civilian" counters.

A mix of Klingons, Romulans, Cardassians, etc.

Some sort of "generic" counters than can be used to represent beings not reprented in the counter mix.

    Some counters for creatures.

A few counters for objects, such as an oversized counter for a shuttlecraft.

OK. Fair. What form would be of interest?

I've done a bunch of Cardboard Heroes-type figures I can put up on the site if anyone's interested. They're mostly Human, with some Vulcans, Andorians and a Bolian. I'm thinking of doing some more with various aliens. They're true 25mm standard at 300dpi. So far I've got 24 figures, including a block of 6 security goon--- er, personnel; all in First Contact uniforms.

I was thinking something a little smaller, so that the counters would fit easily into the spaces on a "battlemap".

I'd like to see them. Do you have them up on your website?

I curious to see how you did them (drawn or screen captures?)

I'll be putting up the first batch of play aids files on Memory: ICON this weekend. A sheet or two of figures will be included.
