Has anyone read these? Can anyone point me into a synopsis of what happens? I am looking at finishing up the DW with our group and kind of wonder where cannon goes from there.

USS INDEPENDENCE
"FREEDOM'S FLAGSHIP"
True Cannon goes no where, the books are good however.
I recommend reading Section 31 (just so you know who has replaced who): Abyss, then the Mission Gamma 4 part series.
Phoenix...
"I'm not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity,
but maybe we should just remove all the safety lables and let nature take it's course"
"A Place For Everything & Nothing In It's Place"
And you still won't unless you read Avatar books 1 and 2. They set up everthing that follows. They are all good. The Jake book is ok, but not bad.Originally posted by Phoenix

Duct tape is like The Force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

I just read both books of the Avatar series and I am thinking about getting the Gamma Mission Series - I take it those pick up after Avatar?
USS INDEPENDENCE

Go look in the back of either Unity or Rising son (the last 2 books) and you will see the order the books are in. I've read them all except Left Hand of Destiny 1 and 2 and really enjoyed them.![]()

I pulled this from the Trekbbs.com Literature forum.
And there are more plans for more to come.Posted by ATimson:
This is a repost and update of a post in a prior thread. It attempts to place the relaunch and other associated novels in chronological order. Note that for the most part, it focuses on very tight links (i.e., "Cold Fusion" or use of relaunch-created characters like Vaughn and Jast) versus looser ones.

If you have a fondness for Klingons like I do, then read both of the "Left Hand od Destny" books, they are quite good.![]()

I have read the whole Post Series it is good there. It can give ideas for one's own campiagn. I took some elements from the series but I like my own ideas, which matched much of the series. Anyone wanting to run a Post Dominion War series should read this series. It gives good ideas for your own adventures. They are not perfect but they do work.
Hey my opinion
Without Star Trek: The Original Series there would be no other Trek Series or Movies regardless of shows rewriting the Series past.
