Did ya all see we had our largest number of visitors yesterday with 191 users?

Yes. It seems odd when I general only see at most about 10 on site when ever I am on the site.

I don't trust that number either. I have not yet found out how it is supposed to calculate. But there was 53 unique forum members who logged into the forum that day. 50 logins, 100 visitors and 40 spambot crawlers But if it is supposed to be concurrent users as I thought it was...

No, It will have to wait as well.

I smell someone over-reacting to possible 'offensive' avatars, but really that should be a moderation issue!
I have only seen it as one of the points with avatars/icons myself. I have to admit that 'offensive' avatars are a part of the equation, but not a "make or break" issue.

I will look into it. Keep me updated if the problem persist.

Email notification has stopped for me. I change them all to daily notification. It is possible I was on when all the posts occurred, would I still get a notification?

I suspect it could be for more than one person.. Which would explain why the boards suddenly got quiet!

The problem are affecting everyone. Currently are we probably sending the mails to the gamma quadrant as it disappears into a black hole somewhere.

I am currently restored the backup from just just before the upgrade, to the server. But I can't send anything from there either. Or at least, I don't receive anything to any of the email accounts I have tested against.

I have sent a mail to the hosting providers support and asked them to verify that anything leaving the server reach outside their building.

Ahh oh dear, I thought it might. It looks like it might have been something that was tripped in the upgrade, as it roughly coincides fromthat point.. but equally, if the old version isn't running, it could be several things good luck figuring it out!

    At last.
I don't know what the problem was, as I didn't got that much information from the support. But I know they did something, as the mail start pouring in. To my great joy has the last few days generated 100+ of Mail Delivery Subsystem warnings, filling my inbox.

[REQUEST] More Smilies! More STAR TREK Smilies!

I was hoping you might follow Holonet or WotC messageboards lead by adding more smilies than you can shake a fish stick (or glop-on-a-stick) at. It would be nice to see smilies in the form of a Klingon, Romulan, Ferengi, Andorian, Borg, etc.

I wouldn't mind a devil smiley for when I decided my post is a bit naughty or have a dark humor in it.

I also like a banghead smiley for when I respond to the most ridiculous of posts or hear something that is beyond total humiliation and disgrace for the entire humaniti species. It goes way beyond the sighs and the rolleyes. It is the most appropriate response to any B&B messages as to why they still remain ENTERPRISE's executive producers or are still employed in the Star Trek franchise.
    Anyhoo, just some random thoughts...

The "Most users online" shows concurrent number of user, or more exactly the amount of users within a 15 minute period. But vB3 does also includes every spider into that number as well and some spiders can give a really high visit count. I have resetted the counter and temporary disallowed the spiders.

We have had 58 unique member logins so far today. So if you have not already done so, drop in and say hi here "How many of us? Really?"
