Can anyone give me a synopsis of this adventure? Specifically wondering if it would be worth purchasing for a campaign involving a small number of Starfleet officers (only -- no merchants/rogues/etc.) I purchased The Orion Ruse some time ago and was quite disappointed, as it all but required at least a few PCs to be merchant/trader types without major revisions.

I'd have to haul my copy out to check, but as I recall the quality was about comparable to Orion Ruse. You could modify it to suit a small group of Starfleet Officers without too much trouble. Your mileage may vary of course.

It was written to be used with the Merchants supplement with the PCs playing independent traders but as Daniel mentions it could easily be reworked to allow for a small group of Starfleet officers to investigate the situation.

Thanks. I'll probably take a pass, then. I don't mind writing an episode, but I hate buying a module, then find myself not restructuring the whole thing (as opposed to tinkering on the margins).
