Y'know, metal miniatures have been around since before role-playing games were a twinkle in the eye of Gygax. When RPGs began to take shape, metal miniatures were imported into the hobby. Now, minis are an integral part of gaming, particularly if you play any sort of d20 system game.

That's why, after all this time, I find it incredible that only now this product has come to light: color-coded, dry/wet-marker-erasable, sized-perfectly-for-a-one-inch-grid magnetic bases for miniatures or counters.

Use these to show which (and how bad) characters are injured; You can also use them to show spell-effects, elevation, etc. And, they all move when the mini is moved!

OR you can substitute miniatures altogether with these by customizing washers with your own art (or art clipped from magazines, CCG common cards, etc.). When you're done, you can slip your customized washers in storage pages designed for photographic slides. Store a whole army in a notebook!

Anyway, I bought a set of these magnetic bases and thought folks might be interested in them. Considering all the Star Trek and LOTR CCG cards available, a lack of minis for the same RPGs isn't much a of a problem now.
