Nothing canon at all claims the Mirror Universe came into existence as a result of the events in "Mirror, Mirror". And nothing in DS9 says that, either. So, if you are suggesting that the Mirror Universe didn't exist until "Mirror, Mirror", on what do you base this?

No, what I'm refering to is the fact that the original crew knew nothing of the exsistance of the mirror side, not that it didn't exsisit at all. "Enterprise" consistantly seems to insert itself into situations where later on kirk & campany have never heard/seen of them.

I read that Coto thought a Gorn might make in interesting horror-spin episode, in the same fashion as "Alien", without anyone ever realizing what it was. But that's all I read. Again, I'll wait and see.

And this is what I was refering to. Simply not naming species from future shows so they can claim they havn't broken "cannon" is very weak. Instead of writing new material they fall back on the "unknown-future" alien of the week stories. It seems (to me anyways) that they are using Coto's liking of TOS as cover, so B&B can continue to do pretty much the same style of shows they did on Voyager.

So far, this season has been inconsistent in quality; it got off to a pretty good start, but has diminished a bit in recent weeks. So far, it's not as good as last season (which had its share of stinkers) -- but as of this moment, Enterprise still rates above Voyager on my ranking.

I will agree with you on the Voyager issue.

If you want to discuss the merits of the show, or the lack thereof, find a thread dedicated to that purpose and discuss it there. This thread, obviously, is for people who like Star Trek: Enterprise and is interested in its production.

If you don't like the show, that's fine. But I don't care if you don't. Like a lot of others, I am quite tired of some fans whining like 14 year olds every time the show is mentioned. . . especially when they're basing their opinions on incomplete information.

Wanna bash Star Trek: Enterprise ? Great ! Do it in the appropriate forum !

It sounds as if some people are misunderstanding this episode. Unless I am mistaken, the "mirror universe" Enterprise episode sounds like it will focus entirely on a day(s) in the life of the mirror universe crew, with no cross-over or anything. Sounds interesting to me, and I'm hardly a fan of the show right now.

Oddly enough, I'm running a mission right now set in 2301AD involving a crew sent to recover the Defiant from Tholian space...so if anyone comes across any more refurbished Defiant photos, please, please, PLEASE post 'em. So I can USE them!

In fact, did anyone grab a larger photo of the Defiant's dedication plaque?

He's better than they had, but he hasn't saved it. The show needs a great deal of help if it is to survive just not being cancelled at the end of this season.

If I thought submitting my ideas would help, I would, but let's face it, the chances of them using a script from an unknown is virtually nil.
