It's been a canon fact for several years now that Starfleet HQ and Starfleet Academy are located on the old Presidio grounds in San Francisco. Well, according to an interview with George Lucas on 60 minutes tonight, LucasArts and LucasFilm will be moving to new digs this year - on the old Presidio grounds in San Francisco.
Meh. Eventually, someone has to invent/perfect holodeck technology.

Explains all those futuristic buildings.. they are all George Lucas' old haunts It might take a couple of centuries but it's pleasing to know that Startrek will eventually bulldoze Lucas's buildings and put the head of Starfleet there
