Wacky series idea, need episode help!

OK, so I came up with a really cool series idea and have players jumping down my throat to run a Star trek game.... I'm just at a loss for what to do outside of the basic series setup, as I think I have "boxed myself in," oddly enough by making things really open.

The Series is tentaatively called "Quantum Trek," and is set on the USS Beckett, a Nova Class Heavy Scout. In the first episode, the crew will be sent out to investigat some "Quantum Timespace Anlomolies," which result in them being bounced somehwer in the galaxy at a different point in time. As a hint of the final episode (hopefully a long ways off), they catch a glimpse of their own ship, looking much older coming out of this anomoly as they are being drawn in. At the end of each episode, the ship is dropped somewhere "new," where they need to solve a problem before being dropped somewhere else in time/space.

I was thinking that some episodes could deal with continuity errors that popped up in the TV series and movies, so they end up creating the continuity errors or creating the retcons via their actions (so they end up "fixing" the timeline, but not always perfectly ). I was also thining an overarc where they try and figure out who/what is bouncing them around and why, and some cool "old school" ToS-style adventures, like maybe a mirror universe adventure or two...

The problem is, as I said above, I'm kinda stuck for episode ideas. I know the setupo, it is giving me tons of stuff bouncing around in my brain, I just need a direction for my brain to go in. Suggestions, ideas, plot hooks, etc would be great!

Thanks in advance, and in case anyone is wondering, I'm using CODA .

And if anyone has stats for the Waverider, I'd love to see them, haven't found any so far....

How about you create an antagonist and protagonist who are working against them, as there is in the show.

Since the discovery of wormholes, and perhaps the mere existence of this ship has created an organisation in Starfleet which exists throughout the timeline (such as the Casandra satelite in on of the LUG books), which the characters can turn to for help.. Perhaps indeed one of the people aboard their ship is their version of 'daniels', though as a less annoying twist, he's simply from their era, he just has access to some of the records of his organisation iteracting with the crew of this ship. Different timelines which spin off as a result of a wrong turn might create a change in stance.. sometimes they might be hostile, sometimes nice, sometimes quizical, and sometimes misinformative, to try and get them to change their course of action.

Using this same premise perhaps their is a rogue agent who might not always be on the ship, but for reasons best known to your anomalies is tied to them.. so whenever they jump forward, their nemesis moves with them, and tries to undermine what they are doing: Perhaps it is what he is doing which is preventing the leaping from stopping, they just take time working that out!

You could get some ideas for that from Tru-Calling where she had a nemesis who worked against her (as did Sam once or twice), or even that twisted episode where she had to redo the day again and again, each time trying to learn more till she fixed the problem (should be a good inscentive to not stuff up!)

It could be fun if agents from temporal investigations did turn up, because if they get involved it could become messier.. someone or something more powerful than they are is controlling the strings.. Temporal investigations is only going to get caught in the web

Thanks guys. Between here, RPGnet, and the episode thread stickied at the top, I think I have enough stuff to make this work out. If people are interested, I'll post how it goes (we should be starting in about 2 weeks)

what if the crew has to cause a problem . like having to make sure the klingon moon blows up or the rolumans perfect the cloaking device. The borg needs to be saved from another rival .
