    Those pesky Orions (spoilers)...

I found the idea of the women as the real power interesting. Might explain the need for slavery on the Orion worlds; otherwise the women are running amok.

Or, by getting 'sold' to aliens, they could amass a power base. Not sure how anyone failed to notice how their boss's slave girl was calling the shots, but from what i understand about era's where that kind of stuff was common (ancient egypt/rome for example), it wasn't a surprise for a concubine to have the ear (and other parts ) of the king!

I enjoyed it immensely. Very solid episode. Can't wait to get my hands on the DVDs.

And next week, we get to have a little fun. It looks like we might actually get a mirror universe episode worth a damn. God knows the 24th century ones were pretty lame.

Uh, let me get this straight. Because of their inherent pheromones and the effect on males (as well as non-Orion females), they instituted a slavery barter system in order to swap them? Because if they keep one for too long, they'd go agressively nut?

    Anyhoo, just some random thoughts...
