    Nice!

Found one typo however: in the shuttle comparison chart you have the type E labled as type F.
    Phoenix...

but maybe we should just remove all the safety lables and let nature take it's course"

Figures that I would do something like that. Ah well, it's fixed now - the beauty of online publishing!

Thanks a lot! Now I have to decide which book really will be Vol III ...

Ships of Battle (a lot of SFB inspired designs), Archernar Project (Star Trek Phase II designs), Baton Rouge (from the Spaceflight Compendium and FASA)... Romulans, Klingons... Kzinti? So much to choose from.

I got to admit, those SoB would be easiest to do, I have a hard time getting enthused by it. Too many 'samey' designs in it, and far too many 'twinkish' designs. If the Dreadnought is the biggest ship the Federation can supposedly field (aside from the mass-intensive heavy carriers), why the frack are there so many battleship types, et all.. you would THINK that the dedicated warships would be more frigates... alas.

I'll decide sometime this week, though. In the meantime, I may play with my notes for an Icon SRD...

    Great work on this.

You've inspired me to resurrect my old USS Hermes technical manual that I started putting together for my Trek campaign. I also tried to duplicate the look of the old FJ tech manual although I think you've done a much better job.
Did you put the document together in Word or did you use a dtp package or something like Pagemaker?

    Cheers

I used MS Publisher, honestly, since it was a cheap purchase and does a good job with relatively light-load documents like these. I wouldn't recommend Publisher now, though, but the OFfice 2000 version (pre-activation crap) was pretty solid if you want something basic without the overhead of Pagemaker.

Great work on this! Nice pics and good layout on the PDF. Excellent!

If I may, I'd like to put in a vote for you to do the "Ships of Battle" for Vol III. I think you could really have some fun with the ships...keeping the general premise of layout, but making them less "cookie cutter" like and more akin to interesting NEW designs.

    Keep up the good work!

Sorry, guys. I'm moving my site and stuff over to my new host at http://www.pixelsagas.com , and really didn't update everything right away like I should have.

I've got Volumes I and II up at the new site now (though not neatly), and will have the Starship Weapons Guide up tonight or tommorow morning.

Volume III will be out THIS WEEK... Well, it's more like volume zero, since it's Baton Rouge era.. but it WILL BE OUT AS GOD IS MY WITNESS!

The images? Made them all... as for source material, they're all referenced in the opening pages.

Nice images. I have only one question... why does every ship have a sensor dish attached? Seems to be a very Technical Manual/SFB appraoch, is that what you were going for?
