    Chekov Treks To The Web

    Chekov Treks To The Web
Walter Koenig, who played Ensign Chekov in the original Star Trek series, told SCI FI Wire that he is planning on starring in a fan-based Internet short film that will give some finality to the character he's been associated with for nearly 40 years.

Yep, that'll be the Star Trek:The New Voyages fanfilm bunch.

WIth the script written by D.C. Fontana, I really can't wait for them to finish and get it available.. although, if they do like the last, it'll take me a while, because I'll want to get their DVD quality version and that'll be only on Bittorrent..

And, with W.K. in it, D.C. Fontana writing it, and Eugene Roddenberry behind it as well... can it really be called a fanfilm??

Well, yeah. Specifically because Paramount isn't involved...

Finality? It's 40 years after "Generations." Admiral Chekov is getting ready to retire.

He stumbles upon an interdimensional portal, winds up in the B5 universe.

    And Bester kills him.
