    Cool, that looks like quite a nice ship, if a little boxy in places, still, that's a scaling thing, to do with deck heights

    I understand that, however, defensive posturing should be considered. Not that the pod is ment to carry additional weaponry, but that while tactically withdrawing, that it is far less likely to be hit.

    On this I have to agree, whole hearted. If the rollbar was connected to the nacelles maybe. Or here is an idea. Split the pod into two, and place both haves on the connecting frames above the nacelles. Therefore, if one gets hit, the other is still functioning.
