The preview of this adventure looks interesting. I particularly like the graphic images.

I look forward to reading the finished product.

Thanks, Glad you liked it! Well I think I have my newspaper sorted: I just need to.. fill it with articles! I knew there was a reason I didn't make a full page newspaper before

Ok back to writing more content. Any ideas for graphic images it could use?

I'm going to be running this in a month or so again so I will try and get it finished, for my own self However I would still appreciate help and suggestions for what i have got so far and for any 'modules' people can think I could add ? Not much criticism other than 'nice'

    Thumbs up

It's been a while since I've touched my Star Trek RPG books (the Last Unicorn ones-- I never had the money/patience for Decipher, which also prevented me from getting into second edition CCG), so I cannot comment on the content.

What I can say, however, is that these pages look absolutely stunning and you should definitely make the final version available for download.

Thanks, and it will be, just as soon as I get the time to do more of them It does take quite some time to make stuff like that

It's not just the rules, which can always ben fudged by, it's the content, the story. Ideas that could help make the adventure go boom

Well I have been working on the adventure again, including more graphics...

and last but not least..... http://comby.star-fleet.org/city-scene-top-down1.jpg which is my favoirite render so far

Basically I decided that the players needed some visual guides to the city.. the map didn't really point out just HOW much the spire stands out in the city as being strange.. it really is big (in that scale it stands 500 meters tall, just a bit bigger than the Empire State building )

Suffice it to say the model is NOT finished C&C welcome but yes those images are of varying ages, some missing parts which appear later or have changed..

Impressive. What additions and changes can we expect for the future?

I like how you are avoiding 90 degree angles to stress that this is alien architecture.

This is probably due to the strange perspective in combination with the shadows in the last image, but it looks like not all spires are upright, particularly in the lower left corner. Weird.

It's purelly a perspective trick, because I've had to use wide angle lenses to make it work.. but because it's a render, it doesn't have anomorphic distortion in the lense Maybe when Lightwave 9 comes out hehe.

I am not sure what else I am going to be adding.. hence asking for suggestions !

quick update render of the city, in the mid-docks area That's another minuature spire I made last week, well smaller than the biggun, which nearly casts a shadow on it

Oh and just because I was feeling artsy, and messing round with lighting and stuff - behold the sunrise...
