Best to Worst, ranked according to Functionality:

1) Borg (if you see a fleet of them, there IS no place to hide, and each Cube does the same as every other Cube...)
2) Federation (each ship is quite adaptable for mission profiles...within reason)
3) Romulan (Again, ships are generally quite adaptable...)
4) Cardassian (Less flexible then Federation and Romulans...but more so than Klingons)
5) Klingon (Warships with other things thrown in)
6) Ferengi (They've got one?)

Romulan (a fleet of D'Deridex's DO scare)
Federation (so many different types and colours)
Klingon (better than borg. worse than feds)
Borg (ugly, samey but also cool)
Cardassian (ugly and samey. not cool)
Ferengi (they have a fleet? )
