Recently I decided to write up a bunch of the major characters from DS9 in the Coda RPG format. I've stuck to major characters that weren't covered in the Narrator's Guide, and made use of all the books (Aliens, Starships, Starfleet Operations, etc.), as wello as the BtFF webzine.
In several cases, I also made use of a few House Rule Flaws, such as Code of Honor (inspired by LUGTrek), Loneliness, Non-Commissioned Officer (I do NOT agree with how non-coms get treated in the official rules!), and Medical Remedy (also inspired by LUGTrek). I will try to include the House Rules I used along with each character.
I also allow characters to take more than two Flaws, total. I mean, c'mon. The Personal and Professional Development Flaws reflect the character's troubled background, but doesn't anyone accumulate Enemies, personality quirks, or reveal Dark Secrets later on in the series?
The only thing I skipped altogether is Martial Arts Maneuvers. I may do revised versions of Sisko, Kira, Worf, and Quark, and then tack on a few more Advancements and Maneuvers to these characters.
