    Decipher Trek RPG announcement?

    Here.

Decipher has some news about the Trek RPG, that I can not mention. It does involve a release schedule for new RPG items.
Look for an announcement on Decipher's main web page Monday or Tuesday of next week. I have promised not to blab the announcement before hand.
Now, don't get your hopes up. I trust this about as far as I can throw the USS Ronald Reagan. But it is from a board Mod. (and maybe something else? that username seems familiar.)

So I'm taking a 'wait and see' approach.

    And sharpening my knives.

I'll believe it when I see it. (And the username in question is a glorified fan who does some of their convention stuff for them.)

Thanks for the info. This could become a wonderful week. Shadowrun 4th Edition will be released and, who knows, maybe we will see some new Trek books in the future. Things can only get better.

    Hmmm. Sounds familiar.

On a related note, I wonder if they talked Tim into becoming their new Net Rep?

I think he's called himself that on a number of occasions.

I wouldn't hold my breath on the announcement. Decipher has strung us all along for the past couple years on largely empty promises.

Decipher has some news about the Trek RPG, that I can not mention. ...
Am I mistaken or did he just mention it?

I suppose they will finally publish some more book(s), or maybe they found someone else to carry on the line. Otherwise such an announcement wouldn't make any sense, unless of course, they are suicidal idiots, take pleasure in misleading their consumers, or both.
Something will happen, I just don't understand why they don't want to tell us about it right now. The only explanation I can think of is that not all sub-licensing contracts have been signed, yet.

Well, I wish him better luck than I had.

My thoughts exactly. And from a couple of former "insiders," that's pretty telling, don't you think...

You do realize we're talking about good old "It'll be out next month, honest!" Decipher, right?

Which is really just one plot, with a technobabble-and-alien-name generator to cover your tracks.
