I keep getting errors when I try to unzip it, GoB. The WinZip logfile gives me this:

"End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not a Zip file, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part Zip file."

    Hope that helps a bit...

    Cheers

Edit: PS - the same thing happens with the HP RPG Core book. The Character sheet, Compendia Creatura, Magus Artefactum and the sample adventure all open without a problem - it's just the core rule book. The message is the same as above.

    Cheers.

Hmmm. I don't have any probs.

GoB and crew - another good issue. Orcses! The Play-by-Email article was nicely written, and I dig the concept of Fellowship of the Spear.

Hopefully I'll get time to read some of those archived adventures you linked to in the PGEM article.

Weird... I don't know what the problem is. It may be an incompatibility with my ZIP program (PowerArchiver) and WinZip. I've only had one other person have a problem with my site and it wasn't the same as yours.

PM or email your address and I can send you the files you can't get.

    Hey GoB,

I was looking at your dwarven units in the Gundabad article. Not being particularly familiar with the siege/structure rules, what's your estimate for the point value of the Extra Protection and Reinforcement special abilities?

I put Mountain Friend at 2 points which matches Cave-dweller and Forest-friend.

I'd probably make Reinforcement 6 points, its a fairly powerful ability to regenerate/strengthen a structure in the midst of combat, and Extra Protection 3 points, useful in a siege but otherwise limiting to a unit's options.

In the 2 Anniversary issue (#25), I'm going to break down the new mass combat rules and create some rules for generating units that are a bit more like creating ships/starships.

Cool, thanks, and I'll definitely look forward to your expanded rules.

I also wanted to give a shout-out to Scott and his players -- I just finished reading the first Lord of Darkness chronicle linked in the PBEM article. There is some excellent material in there, as well as interesting characters.
