Any ideas on what the Enterprise uniforms might look like ?

It took me a while to get used to the FC uniform, being dark and all. If there is one thing I like about VOY, it is that they retained the earlier, brighter uniform by allowing departmental color more coverage. The FC uniform needed that single sleeve departmental color stripe (which by the way comes from Kirk's era in The Films Series), as well as the colored tunic under the coat and proudly displaying the rank pips to offset the dark tone as well as clearly identifying the officer's specialty department.

I like the new uniforms. No one seemed to mind when the FC uniforms brought back the single sleeve-stripe of the Pike-era, so it stands to reason that things like rank-pips and the like can lie dormant for a century just like the Pike sleeve-stripe.

The best thing - Bakula seems to have gold piping. That means redshirts are back where they belong...
