Probably a little generous with the shields. 1/2 might be more like it-not that it is going to matter much. Any chance of squeezing a 2 pt engine into this?

I think you have done a great job within the confines of the available rules, but there is just no way in life you are going to get me to believe that the Class F shuttle weighs 1750 tons. 20 maybe, but not 1750.

Agreed, 15-20 tons total weight seems more appropriate.

Maybe we should revisit the rules for small craft. We could adjust the mass by the class of the vessel up to max. 1/100th mass (17.5tons) seems almost perfect for a Class I craft.

Officially, the class F shuttle weighs in at about 8MT .. with the FASA ratio in place, we would be looking at 6.2 tons.

    That's it.

ItNw all we need is to find a bunch of giants to throw spears at it.

I like it. It has enough power to fit a light phaser for special operations.

I've heard the need for microship design/construction tables before. I fully agree and some brave soul needs to take a stab at putting something together to represent shuttles and fighters better than the current available rules. Meteo seems to be on the right track with the various components and could form the core of the new tables. I'll love to volunteer, but I'm forehead deep with other projects at the moment and I simply can't do it.
