    Found it!

    USS Durendal, NCC-9038.

If you wanted to just shoot me the graphic through email (dougal_AT_sisna_DOT_com) that would positively rock...

Well, here's two Durendal's for you. The latter one is something I played with in effects, which worked out pretty cool - looks lifted from an LCARS display.

Now see, that's what I was looking for in Starships. Like the ones in the Narrator's Guide but those images were soooo dark.

    USS Avenger Class Frigate

Essentially, the prototype design for USS Reliant in TWOK.

I like it! Must stat this one out, too, in my copious unstructured free time.

Wouldn't be hard.. just copy the Reliant. Overall, it's got the exact same capabilties. Might be a point or two less in structure (due to less mass without the rollbar assembly), but everything else is the same.

Yep. This is the design that Harve Bennet approved for the Avenger (which would be Reliant later) ... upside down.

    USS Indomitable Class Battleship

One of Jaynez's more itneresting ships, but with serious flaws, particularly when you take it's back-story (one of the last pre-Excelsior designs) into account. To make it more difficult, there's a physical model kit (1:2500) that is a pure Connie derivative, with some unique lines and fixes of its own.

This uses the model as a 'base' for the biases in drawing the lines. As a result, it's closer to that than the Jaynez's file, but still recognizable as the same ship.

    USS Griffon Class Escort Frigate

Frigate? More like CRUISER. This actually is the size (down to the pixel) given, with the pieces slightly altered for consistancy. Not a lot of editing on this one, actually.

    USS Wizard Class Experimental Cruiser

Well, another of the 'Jaynz' files, this one from the so-incredibly-obscure-you-won't-believe-it Stardrive magazine. The official numbers are laughably bad, the backstory rediculous , etc...

I went from the design art, tweaking it just a little, and blithely ignoring the written material.

Romulan V-8 Bird of Prey (Classic Cruiser)

By request, and something I've been wanting to get done anyway.
