Another good 'un. I think the best articles in this one were the Breelanders and 'What Once Was.' I particularly liked the background on Tori and the weights and measures. It's that kind of detail that makes a world make more sense.

    Thanks!

I was thinking about this adventure for about two months regarding Moria and why would a Dwarf be shamed before his peers. I thought about the wealth of treasure that came out of Moria, but then Smaug layed on a massive pile of gold and trinkets, so I knew it would have to be more than just losing the physical treasures - after all, ALL of the Dwarves ran from Moria's wealth.

But then I thought, how do you make a race of people uncertain and even more un-trusting (potentially even between themselves) - you take away the standards that they base everything on. Imagine a group of merchant Dwarves not trusting the weight of a gold coin, or an ingot.

So, the idea that the standards were as valuable (if not moreso) as what they measured and would be a very important thing to remove from the vaults came to mind, and thus the story.

Glad you liked the articles and we will keep up the work!
