Lightbulb Post-Enterprise Series

Well, you see what happens? You don't visit for a while and suddenly everything's different!

While I've been on sabbatical from Trek-RPG.net - primarily due to my disgust with the handling of the line - I've spent a great many hours working on some ideas for a post-Enterprise-era campaign setting. I'm pretty keen on a Romulan War setting, but am also pretty interested in an early United Federation of Planets setting as well. Perhaps I can have both!

In any case, I've been contemplating this for some time now, and think that I might have some notes to post (once I clear out the old hard drive) to share with everyone who's interested in such things.

I'll keep you all posted.

Our late, lamented Phoenix (originally Artemis) campaign was full bore into the Romulan War, complete with Orion mercenaries and rogue Centauran atavisms, when it sadly ground to a halt due to Narrator burnout.

I love the idea of a post-Enterprise series...
I have been toying around with the idea for a few months but I think I will have a break from trek-RPG-ing when I'm done with my fourth (and last) season of Star Trek: Frontier in May.
Anyway....
I love the idea of a post enterprise series and I'm quite sure my next series will take place around the year of 2160.

Any Ideas for this series would be great but my standard idea would be to give the players a Dadedalus class ship amd send them on a exploration/first contact mission.

Here's an interesting retake on TOS Enterprise, using a guide from Enterprise...

Sorry I've not been on for a while. Life always seems to get in the way when I plan to start work on something.

In any case, this Series is slated to begin in 2156 - the year after Enterprise ends (but prior to the foundation of the UFP) - and is set near within the area later designated as the Neutral Zone.

Earth and Andoria agree to a joint starship construction project. The design phase includes primarily human and Andorian engineers, but is supplemented by the Tellarites, the Xindi-Primates and Arboreals, and even a couple of Vulcans. The resulting vessel - Unity - is scheduled to launch in 2158 and will explore the region between the future UFP and the Romulan Star Empire (though the region is not known as such at this point).

Unity features a multi-racial crew, a melange of human and alien technologies, and is considered the jewel of Earth's fleet. None of the other races involved in the project are keen on giving out their most advanced and secret technologies, but the energy weapons, torpedoes, and shielding technologies designed by human engineers (and "enhanced" by the other participants) are the bleeding edge of technologies coming from the Sol system.

The Series itself is a prelude to a Romulan War Series, though whether the PCs are to be the direct cause or not is as yet undetermined.

I'll slap some more notes up here in a while.

Hey mctavish, long time,

After your excellent Borg vs The Dominion Suppliment i'm looking forward to your take on this era.

Though i've not watched much enterprise i'm naturally curious
